Dialogoose ("we", "our", "the app") is a daily Portuguese learning game. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Data We Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to our servers. Dialogoose has no backend server, no user accounts, and no analytics tracking.

All game data is stored locally on your device using browser localStorage, including:

  • Game scores, streaks, and play history
  • Preferred difficulty mode
  • Review queue (sentences you got wrong)
  • Words you save to discuss with your teacher
  • Weak word tracking (words you struggle with)

This data never leaves your device.

Support Requests

If you contact us through our support form, we collect your email address and message in order to reply. Submissions are processed through Google Forms and stored in Google’s services. We use this information solely to respond to your request and do not share it with anyone else.

Third-Party Services

The app does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. Pronunciation audio is generated on-device through your operating system’s text-to-speech engine and does not transmit any data.

Children's Privacy

Dialogoose does not knowingly collect any personal information from children. The app does not require an account, does not collect personal data, and is safe for all ages.

Data Deletion

Since all game data is stored locally on your device, you can delete it at any time by clearing your browser data or uninstalling the app. No data remains on any server because we do not operate servers that store user data. To request deletion of a support message you previously submitted, use the support form and reference your original message.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
